Ethereal, mystical and spell binding! A beautiful shot from you, Petra.
This type of photo really grabs my liking. It is almost monochrome but not, not quite. I am a lover of monochrome photography.
Thank you for your kind words, Laurence.

Crepuscular rays give the whole view a ” royal” feel, as if a crown of cloud. Great capture!
This is a great little capture Helen… Thanks for sharing… ;))
Stunning Picture Helen!! Please, more!
This reminds me of my high level walks in the mountains of Scotland where the clouds would move in from seemingly nowhere and so fast. You certainly had to keep sharp eye on your bearings and navigation methods.
Unusual but interesting.
It’s the whole setting that makes this so interesting – surreal
Or…maybe it is the mark of Zorro.
“Love love me do” Groovy, Stefan.
Hilarious Fiorella. Very well spotted.
He’s running in the middle
Looks like a duck is hot on his tail.
The cloud on the right looks like it is repelling from an attack from the cloud on the left. Very interesting photo.
Beautiful – like great cloud waves crashing onto the seashore…
Powerful shot, Jean-Pierre – tantalising glimpse of the world beyond the cloud window.
I really like this shot Timpe. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Thank you for sharing these special thin and ephemere Asperatus-forms, I observe more and more hints of these forms in parts of generally “normal” skies.
Lovely!!! What a great pic, thanks for sharing!
Also looks like a Scotsman wearing a tam o’shanter, Marco! It even has the bobble on the top. Great image!
Just a Fantastic shot Marco. This is another cloud that sadly, most people wouldn’t even notice, so thanks for your keen eye.
Well spotted – a keen seeing eye to observe things above us. What a pirate, eh??! “Ahoy!”
Very fine drawing ! He dates from about 1580 …
Well spotted! : )
So cool, was bi Eu z Chlote alles am Himmel umehüpft! Well spotted, würkli :)
I love this one, Bryan. What do you suppose the one in front has done?
I really like this one – made me laugh!!
Thanks Carolyn and Becky. I think the little cloud told the big cloud that he could make it to the other side of the lake first—LOL!!!!
