Tom Blazier, Society member 17468, recently sent us his painting “Where Earth Meets Sky”. The painting is of a hard scrabble region of Arizona, south of Payson.

His website tells us he is a New Mexico-based oil painter whose work is inspired by the dramatic light of the Southwest landscape. Skies, the source of light, figure prominently in his paintings, and an ethereal quality can be observed in many of his pieces.
