ParticipantHans, I fully agree about this thread and love the way it teases a certain insatiable craving, constantly surprising us all.

ParticipantThanks, Hans! And I love your What Creature with a not-too-picky appetite. Still, I might want to stay out of its way.
Roshan, your dragon and whale are fantastic. Hope you will share more with us here.

ParticipantTrue, and yet non-cloud elements often give meaningful context. Many here are real beauties. Even the more subtle images like your Raven in Fog, Ruth. I hope if this topic does fade, we’ll find your flyers cruising into another one. They are such a delight.

ParticipantGreat zingers from all of you, Ruth, Hans, Michael ~~ hitting all the chords and beyond to the outer limits!
I heard the last meteor shower of the year will be at its height tonight. Looks like this these two couldn’t wait for dark.

ParticipantTimely warning about tomorrow’s hangover, Michael! I wouldn’t want my brain to look like the Opposite of Bubbles—another great reminder, Hans! And I didn’t even see that sneaky snake until you pointed him out.
It must be the approaching holiday that has me finding feasty food in these recent images with Arizona #242 inspiring a craving for mashed potatoes for a start. And yes, more bubbly, thanks Ruth!

ParticipantWow~~ Ruth, Michael, Hans, you’ve been giving those two clouds that walked into a bar something to talk about—like dressing up in rich royal colors and donning lofty hats. I’d like to put my ear to them and hear it all.

And Hans, what a stunner featured on the gallery last week (Sunset of Charigny, Nov 15th). WOW!
You’ve collectively inspired me to roll out of bed a little earlier to catch a little color in the morning sky.

ParticipantThanks for a fun launch to Volume VIII, Ruth! Like your Caterpillar in the Sky, I can’t wait to see what emerges in this set. Also, congratulations on your shimmering crepuscular rays photo being chosen for Cloud of the Day (Nov 9, 2023) and Misty Morning in Montana on the gallery last month.
And what a fine Snail you snagged there, Angela! It may take a while for it to cross the sky. Not because it’s necessarily a slow slider, but rather because the sky is SO BIG!
It’s a Bird!

ParticipantThanks, Hans and Ariel. And wow what a beautiful dog you found, Hans. Maybe that’s the tail wagging in joy at finding you! And Ariel, I love your auroral moon shots, especially the one with the tree adding a painterly touch to the star-dappled scene.
I don’t know what the sun thought it was up to…
