ParticipantDuncan, thanks for diving into your archives to share that beautiful sunset with dramatic rays. Gorgeous colors there.
Hans, I’m not sure if I want to ski on or consume that luscious photo. I think I’ll join Ruth with a bowl.
And Ruth, I love the softness you’re able to capture in many of your photos. The foggy morning in Bigfork, featured on the CAS Gallery last week, is just one of them. Lovely. Your latest clever title above inspired this one below.

ParticipantThat fiery leap is a hard act to follow, Hans! I hope your tiger was not singed.
And Ruth, I trust your wee hummingbird will find a sweet treat.
Meanwhile, watch out for this creature which appears to be on the hunt for a bite-sized nibble.
Time For A Treat

ParticipantMichael, I must agree with Hans on your Pileus photos. They are amazing and feel so close!
Hans, fortunately, I was able to mover over just in time! Although, I sense you would share the same temptation to linger. ;) And I’m glad to see that your Swarm looks to be a friendly one. I’m not sure you could outrun them.
Below is just a small area of a larger scene that caught my eye for its snowy look.

ParticipantWhat a joyful ride to scroll through the latest displays of exquisite color here. Tim, Ruth, Gregory, Duncan, Hans and Michael, you all bring the light!
Approaching The Blue Hour

ParticipantThank you, Ruth and Hans. Below is another photo from the morning’s series.
Ruth, I love your moon shots and really appreciate your being awake at 3:30AM(!) to take that glowing shot with the tree branches. The image reminds me of the old film style of closing down the audience’s view to a small peephole before expanding again to reveal a change of scene. I’d like to see the rest of that movie.
And Hans, Just A Moment is a beautiful, warm shawl I’d like to wrap up in. No matter the fringe seems to be a bit loose.
Just Out Of Reach!

ParticipantRuth, I like the fine parallels in your quiet composition in Taking An Evening Flight. Very nice!
And Hans, you do see the most remarkable contrail displays! Love the whatever Creepy (or not!) creature you posted on the 7th. And here you go again with another amazing and amusing capture. Are you sure it snapped and isn’t actually two split-tongued friends looking for a celestial hookup?

ParticipantIt’s hard to believe quickly we appear to be approaching another full count in the color thread! And what fine additions since last I’ve been able to post here.
Love the tranquility of Moving Through, Ruth.
Arizona #157 is, as well described, pure velvet, Michael.
And Hans, what a dynamic composition you’ve captured in Diagonal. That must have put your toes awiggle.
Moving Over

ParticipantAh, thanks, Ruth. I think we all inspire each other to keep looking up with these forum threads. It lights up my day like nothing else to see what others see in the skies we all share. Especially good for the more challenging times we live in these days.
Balancing Act
Patricia L Keelin
ParticipantThat’s a keen eye you have there, Han, to see that halo segment in such an eye-catching composition.
And Ruth, your Shades Of White remind me of a trip to the point store where there are rows of delicately hued “whites”. You, too, have a well-trained eye!
Since we’re on to subtleties, here’s one that might fit well as there is but a hint of color in the corona.

ParticipantMany thanks for the kind and encouraging comments and all the generous sharing from everyone at CAS and on these wonderful forum threads.
Micheal, your photos continue to evoke awe. Hans, your wings raise my spirits, and Ruth, please send the recipe for your delicious photos and (both of you) for your clever captioning.
While I’m not a big fan of fireworks, I know others who are. So I’m thinking this photo might fit for a New Year’s Day wish for Peaceful Dreams and their fulfillment for All.
Ooh! & Ahh!

ParticipantYou’re ever so right, Ruth. (“We all need a good meal.”) Well said!
Well Fed!Patricia L Keelin
ParticipantRuth, I love the dance your Happy Dandelion is doing, and your Cauliflower gave me a giggle.
Michael, what a wild sky you’ve got there in AZ. It must keep you spinning in many directions.
And Hans, there must be a story to go with Appearance After Hiding! It is so intriguing.
Like Falling In A Dream

ParticipantSo many beautiful images since I last caught up with you all here!
Ruth, those peachy hues you gather are just delicious. Also enjoyed your recent photos featured on the Gallery (foggy view from Moiese and dramatic skies over Charlo). And your End Of Day beckons like a dream.
Michael, #810 is a favorite with that subtle blush of pink and the composition you’ve captured.
Hans, Dissolving is decidedly dynamic!
Tim, the rich color you’ve captured in your Dec 16th image reminds me of a warm blanket I’d like to curl up with.
Gregory, what luck to see that pillar of gold!
And Duncan, The busy sky is simply captivating. All great images you’ve posted.

ParticipantHans, your terrier looks to be having a grand time there, flying about. And Ruth, if you think yours is hungry, just imagine what it would take to sate this creature.
Big Appetite

ParticipantFinally a moment to catch up here and see the splendid additions by Michael, Hans, Gregory and Ruth. Looks like the sky has been offering a mixed bag of cloud delights for us all.
