Patricia L KeelinParticipant
Ruth, Puff and It’s Gone ~~ Yes, but it shall not be forgotten now that we can see it time and again thanks to your timely capture.
Michael, could your #216 be someone with their head in the clouds? A clever portrait! Also very drawn to #215 for its play of light and shadow.
And thanks, Hans! And I believe I can hear the sweet music of your Celestial Harp. And Let It Snow is a bright visual celebration on these hot summer days.
This one reminds me of a wave coming in on rain specked sand at the shoreline—with a Ruth title inspiration. ;)
Swoosh And It’s Gone
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWild Skies, indeed—from everyone here! Each leaving me to breathe in joy your various vistas.
Fields Of Wonder
Patricia L KeelinParticipantEven an arachnophobe would find your Sky Spider something of a marvel not to be feared, Hans. And to be followed by another big heart from Arielko, well, that’s love for you! And Ruth, when your dog is ready to abandoned that comfy pillow, perhaps he’d like to go for a car ride with his head out the window?
Oh Boy! A Car Ride!
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks for sharing your very tasty bagel, Arielko. Your wit inspired the title below.
Parsley On A Plate
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks for the great launch, Michael, and I surely agree with Hans on #243 (near the end of Volume XX). What a splendid play of light and shadow. And #212 above really pops!
Hans, Between the Lines makes me smile. Those clouds look to be having fun gliding along at a good speed. And after seeing your beautiful Coral that closed volume XX, and your latest which reminds me of maybe an invasion of ocean jellies, I dove down into the archives here and discovered a photo from a couple of years ago. It was just a tiny bit of cloudy sky, and by the time I enlarged it to take a closer look, it too could have come from the sea.
Cloud Coral
Patricia L KeelinParticipantGregory, you are well on your way to catching your rainbow. That is a beautiful photo.
Ruth, I like your High Wire act. And thanks for help with Gallery navigation. I see a few newer gems from you there. Always a treat to find them shared with so many cloud lovers!
And Hans, the halos may be hiding lately, but of course the dogs come to your friendly call. ;)
Nesting In The High Branches
Patricia L KeelinParticipantCongratulations, Gregory! May the all the stars — and, naturally, the clouds! ;) — align for you in your upcoming adventures and endeavors. You’ve captured that dissipating roll cloud in a most artistic and dramatic fashion. Here’s cheers to you and your future plans!
Up! Up, And Away!
Patricia L KeelinParticipantA warm welcome to you, Arielko! You’ve a lovely heart there. And thank you for sharing it here. ;) Hope you’ll continue to join us on the CAS forum.
In the photo below, what first caught my eye was the 22˚ halo. But later, when I viewed the image on computer, the loosely-shaped heart cloud morphed into a little dog’s head and the wispy bit of cloud to the right became his wagging tale. Ah, the fun and fantasy of pareidolia!
Waiting For A Sundog To Come Out To Play
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWow, Michael, your last three are simply fabulous!
Looks like the clouds were up to some mischief in this bit of sky from last springtime…
Feeling Feisty

Feeling Feisty
Patricia L KeelinParticipantI can see why you’d brave the rainy weather to camp there, Ruth. What a view of your big sky! And as you say, clear and fresh.
Got a bit crowded here in a couple of directions.
Above and Beyond
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Michael! Love the cloud duals in your latest two, especially #240.
And Hans, A birth In The Sky is a creation of absolute wonder. Wow!
This one reminds me of seaweed with its holdfast.
Anchored
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, you two! Ian let me know they’d posted my halo photo on the Gallery, but I’ve yet to figure out how to navigate that part of the site since it’s been reconfigured. Any advice on how to view just the most recently added photos without applying the category filters?
Hans, I hope that more than the dogs will come out to play with you soon! And Ruth, you are catching these halos despite interference. ;)
Approaching In Wonder
Patricia L KeelinParticipantVolume VIII was indeed outstanding from 1 to 100 with many to linger over in nostalgic review even as we take off again, opening with two fresh beauties. Thank you, Michael, for an exciting hello to IX!
There was something in the posture of the trees below that gave me the feeling of them bidding au revoir to their golden friend.
See You Tomorrow!
