Patricia L KeelinParticipantHoly Cow is too hilarious, Hans! I’m still laughing here and also so delighted that you enjoyed the earlier images. There is definitely mirth a plenty to be shared in this topic.
I think I heard this happy heifer recently…

~~~Yodeling~~~
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWhat a fun series of duplicates undulatus, Michael. And a beautiful early morning there, Ruth.
This morning was foggy. Not so common here, and certainly not a reason to delay an early neighborhood walk.
Nest Egg
Patricia L KeelinParticipantBeautiful and painterly, Ruth. I can imagine Michael’s orange wings flying swiftly across it.
Pink Puffs
Patricia L KeelinParticipantOops! The photo above was supposed to go to B&W topic (my mistake).
Below is the intended one with an iridescent puppy chasing a sun ball. Hope he’s watching out for Fall Streak holes!
Fetch!
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks for your kind comments, Ruth. Your Moon burn is lovely, serene, humorous and charming ~~ and a favorite for sure. ’Twould be a fantastic start for a bedtime story.
Sun Splash
Patricia L KeelinParticipantA warm welcome to CAS and the forum, Ayaan. Your photo of a whale sailing serenely through a bright sea of sky is lovely.
This “looks-like” topic is definitely a playful one, although other topics (especially Black and White) offer occasional good teases for the imagination as well. For those of us with a strong sense of pareidolia, it’s always fun to see what sails by in the great blue menagerie above our noggins. Hope to see more of what you see in the days to come!
Blue Crane Blowing a Bubble
Patricia L KeelinParticipantRuth, I love the way you capture the mood and the mystery in your elegant moon shots.
Gregory, glad you are looking out the window there! ;)
Hans, what a dramatic scene with that grand sky and the subtle coloring in your Lowbow. And I hope your sundog doesn’t slip while romping across a frozen pond.
Canine in a Cavum
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWelcome to the CAS forum, Mark! Your comment about how clouds enhance other objects in a scene is well supported by the lovely photo you posted here, adding a distinctly felt sense of quiet beauty.
Ah, Michael, the first of many more to come. I could dream on those soft cloud pillows.
Ruth, you have quite the view from your deck there. What a way to begin the morning.
And Hans, I would like to be a bird in your sunset photo. Any branch of that tree would do for a rest and reflection on the day.
It might look as if the sun has slipped out of place in the photo below, but it’s just the bulb of a lamp taking over the lighting of a garden path.
Dragon in Heated Conversation with Tinker Bell
Patricia L KeelinParticipantA great start to Volume XXII, Michael, Hans and Ruth! Can’t wait to see all the mysterious, magical, fine art of cloud forms to come from each of you.
The Sense of Something Sudden
Patricia L KeelinParticipantBrilliant shot, Mark! Hot and cool at the same time. ;)
Big Question Mark makes me wonder what might have preceded it, Ruth. Love the mystery you’ve captured in a single punctuation mark!
Here’s another bit of sky text in the form of a fuzzy tilde. Or perhaps it’s more recognizable as a cloud caterpillar beneath a crescent moon?
Fuzzy Tilde or Caterpillar and Crescent Moon?
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Ruth. Fortunately not in a flood zone, but know others who have had to evacuate. Too much of a good thing all at once here on the west coast. Quiet Here looks so peaceful!
Got Rain Boots?
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Ruth! And what a gorgeous moon shot you captured there. I can imagine it held you in place for awhile, even though the night air may have been rather cool.
We are having wild, wet weather here in California. Feeling very grateful to not be situated in the zones that are currently flooding while my heart goes out to those not so fortunate. Mother Nature is definitely in charge!
Wet & Wild
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWow! What a send off to the old year. Many thanks to all for sharing the views that make waking up worthwhile and providing sweet dream fodder.
Saying Good Night to 2022
Patricia L KeelinParticipantMichael, #253 is an absolute favorite and #454 is quite intriguing with its shadowy element.
Hans, Hairy Cirrus is an amazing capture with a very amusing title. I agree with Ruth about the story potential there. I bet you can even work in the Floss. So funny!
And Ruth, is that Santa’s Lift Off? Is he the friend you were waiting for? Hope he brought the goods! And thanks for sharing with us. ;)
Here’s wishing all the best to everyone in the New Year along with plenty of
Diaphanous Dreams
