All beauties above, with or without silver in the linings!

Coincidence or not, the image by Ingram is indeed a beauty, Hans. It seems to me the gallery has been displaying more and more amazing photos lately. So inspiring! Many thanks to CAS photo editor Ian, whom I imagine must be inundated with daily offerings and manages to keep a keen eye.

Very clever title, Hans! … and here’s the little elephant back for more waterplay, with his blue eye checking us out.

Hans, your iridescent Ray is beautiful, and Laughing Kitten hilarious. You are so right, once seen cannot be unseen — and both have kept me smiling.

I did not see what is so clearly present in the image below until I stood on my head (well, just kidding, a 180˚ flip of the photo seemed the safer approach).

And a big THANK YOU to Gavin and CAS webmaster for fixing the recent glitch before our communal itch got the best of us!

What a beautiful and mysterious image, Ramona! And Hans, your Modest Grays form a stunning composition. I agree with George, it’s quite like a watercolor painting – one that would surely inspire Haiku or some bit of poetry, I imagine. Below, something simple and somewhat linguistic.IMG_8352_Tilde & O.Tilde and O

Thank you, Hans! Yesterday’s late afternoon sky held a lovely surprise.

Title was meant to be Lac du Nuages, but oh-la-la, that auto correct.

Love the subtle iridescence in your Swirly Cloudscape, Hans. And indeed, it is a Cloudwonderland, with endless territory (and illusions!) to explore. What appears to be lake and shore below is pure cloud, with trees in foreground adding to the deception.

Sublime, Hans! Like liquid gold dreaming of color.

Wow! What an astonishing collection of color above, Michael, Hans, and Ramona. No color left behind! Even the more monochrome images have splendor to spare. Below, a little festival in blue and white.

Hard to know what she is up to, Ms. Duplicatus below. Off to some event wearing a fancy necklace? Wish I could see the rest of her outfit. Michael and Hans, you might have captured parts of it above with your beautifully textured images. Winds are ever so fashion forward — and backward, apparently.IMG_7703_B&W_Ms. DuplicatusMs. Duplicatus

Thanks for the suggestion to check out Ingram’s website, Hans. Indeed some beautiful photos there. And I hope to see more images like those you’ve captured in the unusual series. The one noted as taken at 14:15 and Any New Thoughts are my favorites.
