OK cool! I just noticed on a refresh that lots more links appeared. And thanks for changing my nickname to FlyByWire! I’m off to bed now to go dream of flying above the clouds (I haven’t soared since October and miss it – can’t wait for Spring) and will look out for the invite tomorrow.

I’d like to change my profile nickname to FlyByWire, just as it was in the old forum.

The most recent pic of me is this one:
Me somewhere above the Didcot area.

But also tempted to use this as my profile pic:
Peeking through a hole in the low cloud as I fly past.

Or one of my best ever gliding shots:
Having fun around a sea breeze convergeance near Lasham airfield.

And many more tempting ones too… I’ll have to sleep on it….

I used to be moderator in the old forum before going quiet for a while as I was too busy to keep up. I’d be happy to return to moderating duties if desired when I get some time.

Liking the new forum now I’ve had a chance to log in with my new credentials. A big improvement over the old Network54 one so far.

I am sorely tempted to come to this conference, as I live in London. I’ll be interested to find out where in town the conference will be. I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for news.

Jeff I’d say that up North you’re bound to have more interesting clouds than down South (I’m in London). More often than not you’ll be in the lee of the hills and mountains that can generate lovely envious lenticulars. :D One of my favourite clouds.

Ooh I like the notification of reply by email. A big improvement there and will make it easier to keep in touch.

Hey there H. I see I haven’t caught up that far yet. Time is a tad limited these days.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the blue tinge is an artifact of the glider’s canopy. Although I wasn’t flying the one with the tinted canopy so not sure. It was pretty dark under those bigger clouds. Both Yoda and Goblins have a greenish tinge if I remember right so maybe the clouds are trying for balance? :P

Yay I’m in. My login details work then. I’m FlyByWire from the old forum.

And to test picture posting, here’s a Goblin in the sky:

When I uploaded the picture it told me comments are disabled. But I cannot see how to enable comments. Any ideas anyone?

    Cheers!
