Michael LerchParticipantNice boil you captured Hans. Ruth you are going to have to be patient. Another Asperitas event occurred yesterday over Phoenix. Although it lasted the time it took to blow in and then blow out of the Valley from west to east it didn’t last long enough and seemed an eddy of a system passing thru rather than a major attraction. Its starting to look like another winter monsoon so Im hoping for a lot of Asperitas over the next 3 or 4 months.

Michael LerchParticipantHad a 4 hr session of asperitus a few days ago, the same day Santa Barbara Asperitus made the news with their, “Super Rare” sighting..Here it was like a show from 10am to 2pm with asperitus going on in every direction, just at different times. I hardly have begun processing the shots.

Michael LerchParticipantNice shot Ruth, nice rich sunset color as with your photo Hans and the blues!..Thanks to you both for your comments. It all starts with how the shot is being programmed to be recorded. I haven’t used Auto in years, and sunsets are tricky, with everything changing quickly and ever decreasing light. Take lots of shots and make each one different ,vary your exposures, etc. .Its also nice to have clouds so willing to put on a show. I still don’t know how I got this shot tho
