Hello,
Would anybody have an explanation for the cloud formations in the photo and what clouds they are, please?
My six-year old grand-daughter has become a keen cloud-spotter and she would like to know why the grey cloud formation is approaching in a ‘straight line’.
Location: Kalamunda Western Australia. Kalamunda is the Perth Hills, about 300m above sea level, and about 50km east of the Indian Ocean coast line.
Time: Morning
Direction: The clouds are moving west to east, i.e. coming from the ocean. No precipitation locally, but she saw a rainbow on the way to school.
