Nice captures Suzanne. Duplicatus is used when two layers of the same cloudtypes are visible. I don’t think that is the case here, since the cloudtypes at apparent different levels are not the same. On your second image I see altocumulus and virga falling from the altocumulus cloudlets. I suppose that is also the case in the first image, although less obvious.
What do you think? Any other opinions?

      Hans
