Altocumulus lenticularis ? Please help

  Sadly photographed before having the app so not able to submit via the usual route. These were near Penross on the Scottish border back in April. Any alternative identifications ? Thanks in advance.

  No alternative identifications Steve, except for the stone wall. Nice capture. It seems you have to wait for another occasion to earn 4 stars, but hopefully you already had one.

  Steve, I would agree with Hans you have a typical example there. Keep your eyes open as they may be orographic and re-occur one day
