A silver lining with shadows over Minnie Water, Australia.

Cloud Shadows

Andy Lumborg, member 9,117, from Pontypool, Wales, sent us his latest cloud related poem entitled “Cloud Shadows”

Cloud Shadows

Vessels yoked to the wind
in full May morning sail

dark herds crossing the plain
climb hills to vanish over ridges

shape shifters that freeze the air
bring breath-smoke kin and sting
with hail and sleet bare skin

in quickly melting fallen ice
spring flowers in the grass.
