Cindy Medina from Las Cruces, NM, loves clouds and the weather. She recently sent us some Haiku poems which reflect her enjoyment.
Cloud dog upon its
haunches, begging the Sun for
more strokes of its rays.

Two cloud monsters point
north, as if showing the way
to confused cloud mate.
****
High above prairie
they climb, knot, darken: Summer’s
splendid thunderheads.
****
Storm cloud fragments scud
across bright blue sky; misshapen
dark gray monsters.
