A History of the Sky

Musician, programmer and artist Ken Murphy filmed a year-long time-lapse of the sky using a camera installed on the roof of the Exploratorium museum in San Francisco. This captured an image of the sky every 10 seconds, which he put together into a mosaic of time-lapse movies, each one showing a single day during that year. In the video, Ken arranged the days in chronological order to reveal the patterns of light and weather over the course of a year. We love it!
