Sharrie Fordham of Bury St Edmunds, UK, recently sent us this thoughtful cloud inspired poem.
Sky
I find comfort in the sky.
Watching fluffy clouds keep floating by
While staring above and feeling small
Deciding the shape of each white cotton ball.
Dark clouds come in and the rain pours down.
Puddles of it, fill the ground.
The blue sky starts to fade
Casting above, a deep dark shade.

If I could write poetry l would like it to be as descriptive and poignant as this.
It’s exactly how I feel about clouds.
