Vicars' Close is reportedly Europe's oldest residential street, which as Helen conveyed, is famous for its chimneys. She likes to imagine the clouds as smoke coming from them, as seen here over Wells, Somerset, England.

A distrail, short for "dissipation trail", occurs when an aircraft passes through a cloud and it turns the water droplets in the cloud into gas or ice. This distrail is seen slicing its way through a layer of cirrostratus over Kianga, New South Wales, Australia.

Oh what a beautiful morning…etc, etc
Well said, Wkalamon. This photo is really beautiful, especially for the likes of me who is a sucker for sunsets! I like the employment of the very low landscape that gives space and height to the beauty of the clouds above – and i don’t object to the lighted lampost in the far right hand side bottom corner of the photo for if anything, it adds to the overall contentment of the photo.
LAban, thanks fot the photo. 5* rating from me, for sure!

Ahh! a gift from God… the ultimate architect and painter! Bravo! This would have made a super time-lapse sequence.
