Trevor says:
These are chemtrails apart from the short one at upper-right. Contrails dissipate in seconds, are short and do not expand.
-
Alex says:
Many man made clouds can be beautiful, as can be seen in the photo. Well caught Thomas
-
Anthony Skellern says:
Neon striplights in the sky…
I understand what Bryan is saying about contrails, but one could ask that as humanity has such a huge impact on the planet, how many clouds have no human influence in their formation at all ? -
Sharon says:
Contrails have never looked better. Nice graphic image.
-
bryan says:
That should have said, "This is a Spectacular shot Thomas"…. lol (dang typo's)

To Anne Marie: Oui, c'est bien Jacques Brel qui chante qu'on peut s'imaginer en regardent ma photo – ou bien Erroll Garner jouant sa merveilleuse pièce "Misty"

Dr.Thomas Dossler says:
To Anthony: yes, it was a sort of apparition. Walking alone in the nearly absolute silence of a foggy day these group of horsemen was in front of me all of a sudden. And disappeared in the mist a few seconds later. Did they come, did they go? I don't know. Just the time to make this picture.

Anthony Skellern says:
Certainly a timeless image – it could be the Middle Ages!
-
Anne Marie de la Haye says:
In response to Anne: we get funny looks, too, here in France, when we say we 'll go to Shetland for holiday. Thomas's shot remembers me of a song by Jacques Brel: "regarde bien, petit, regarde bien, sur la plaine là bas, y'a un homme qui vient…"
-
Anne Downie, Scotland says:
I love this – what great atmosphere. I'm glad that someone else goes out with a camera when it's misty or foggy – I get some funny looks here when I do!
