As observed by Julia Pearce, "a silver vapor trail zigzagged from space across the whole sky. It was trailing behind an unknown object which appeared to be dropping pieces of itself as it went. Either a re-entry vehicle or a meteorite." Observed over Laguna Niguel, California, US.
