Amazing! You’d swear it was a painting (de Chirico? or am I confusing him with someone else?) if you didn’t know it wasn’t. Is that a sundog I see on the right? Great picture Gary – lucky you to be there!

Good to start the day with this picture, Gary. Thanks for sharing.
There have been several really lovely photos in the last day or two showing marvellous sunsets over Italy and Switzerland. Were these caused by the forest fires in Portugal and Spain? The sunsets take an almost African trance.
