David Davies says: I didn’t really take the shot for the appearance of the rainbow as such, but for the fact that the rainbow was visibly behhind the pannus. (As always, by the time I had picked up the camera, things had moved beyond the best – but I managed to catch a bit.)

How can anyone resist a beautiful sight like this?
They might not be rare, but there’s always room for another rainbow.

How low can you get?!? Remarkable image – I’ve never seen a rainbow, alias, Lowbow, so ground hugging as this. Well caught, David.
