Good picture Frank. Definitely a dramatic cloud picture at sunrise, where the early morning sun is streaming through multiple gaps in the cloud like holy light or torch light down to earth. The cloud layer appears almost like steps you could climb and enter the multiple, light-filled gaps to get to heaven. Went through Bourke, NSW on a winter bus tour a year ago. From Rebecca Hill, Canberra, Australia.

A wide range of contrails and dispersement as a result of varying atmospheric conditions, such as humidity, temperature, wind shear, and atmospheric and aircraft-induced turbulence. The clouds that are formed are done so via homogenitus and are dispersed wider in conditions of high humidity and high wind shear. This expansive display was captured by Ted Burrows over Lexington, Virginia, US.
