After reaching the summit of Frenchmans Cap, Wayde was surrounded by clouds. After 20 minutes the clouds began to lift and clear. Then, as he began to descend, a horseshoe vortex appeared in his view, spotted from Frenchmans Cap, Tasmania, Australia.

Fantastic photo, but it just highlights one of the most dismal planning approvals ever given in Cape Town, for the three circular residential towers which look so splendid in the photo! This opinion is based on the fact that I’m in the architectural profession and live near the mountain.
Great composition with the town highlighted in the background, and such luck to have been there at the right time to see these amazing clouds!
