Beautiful shot Ken !
But aren't they stratocumulus ? They seem to be very low.
I first saw this photo in the November 23,09 Time magazine, p. 92. I would like to know how to obtain a copy or print of this photo.
Many says it look like paintings, and I agree.
That suggests it has been seen by artists before photographers.
Wow! I don`t know about a tapestry, it would have to be a new Tartan! Superb colours and duvet like texture, well caught!
Carolyn Deane-Martin
Remarkable ! It must feel good to know that you bring great joy to so many people THANKS !!!
Hanne Ingerslev
Congratulations Ken. Did you take several views? Any stereo? Jet's a moo cow! Was it cold near the ground and warm and moist aloft? Were clouds aligned with winds in any way? Charles Warner
Fantastic photograph. Looks like a sci-fi scene. Where are the aliens???
Hard to fathom, almost…really spectacular.
Thanks for capturing such a sublime moment.
I think it's more Van Gogh than Munch, but no doubt they were both inspired by such magnificence!!! Mind blowingly beautiful
