Weather

No watcher of the TV weather I,
Go outside and read the sky,
Several thousand years a peasant bred,
I just consult the images in my head.
Clear bright red or orange hue,
Pale duck egg or Madonna blue,
Mountainous clouds or wispy strays,
All foretell very different days.
No watcher of the TV weather I,
No, I look outside and read the sky.
