Clouds in Ft. Lauderdale

Gigantic cotton balls,
Wonder if it tasted like
Cotton candy. If I could
Touch it, would it be wet?
Who knew they had names,
Other than “shade” or “fog”.
I always watch them
Float on by- I wonder
Where they have to go. Maybe
They watch us as they
Flow, waiting for us to go
Inside so they can come down
and play in our world.
Sometimes, we are too busy too.
When we look up, sometimes
They make shapes to remind us
What we are missing
Down here.
