Always Room for Love!
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Hygge, for the helpful reminder about mountains tending to be where supercillium occurs. The photo was actually taken in Colorado where there are mountains aplenty, but I think in this case it was more likely just raggedy clouds that brought that category to mind.
Love the quiet, shimmering scene you’ve captured in Need Sunglasses, Ruth. And congratulations on your stunning sunset featured as Cloud of the Day, January 21, 2024. Gorgeous colors!
Ah Michael, if I could just reach into #182 and pick up that pretty cloud quill pen, surely poetic words flow.
Just Having Fun
Patricia L KeelinParticipantIndeed, Michael! Love the sense of depth you captured in #246. It truly beckons.
Dance of the Feather Duster
Patricia L KeelinParticipantRight you are, Ruth. Interesting and fantastic! So much can be imagined with these B&Ws images.
And here’s a question for all: Is this what happens?
When Zeus Steps on Gum
Patricia L KeelinParticipantAriel, you are an optical phenomenon whisperer!
Hans, how lucky to have the dogs on your side for sniffing out those rare events. What kind of treats do you feed them?
Ruth, your latest (Past Life) is a phantamagoric delight that makes me grin with glee.
And speaking of a past life…
Who Put Bleach In the Wash?!
Patricia L KeelinParticipantSo many beautiful bookends to the day. Thanks to all for sharing!
Good Night 2023
Patricia L KeelinParticipantHans, I fully agree about this thread and love the way it teases a certain insatiable craving, constantly surprising us all.
Beneath the Floe
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Hans! And I love your What Creature with a not-too-picky appetite. Still, I might want to stay out of its way.
Roshan, your dragon and whale are fantastic. Hope you will share more with us here.
Sea Creature Dreams
Patricia L KeelinParticipantGreat variety in your latest images, Ruth and Michael. Rise and Shine and #178 are absolute favorites.
Would this classify as supercilium?
Time for Tweezers!
Patricia L KeelinParticipantCatching some Light is a frosty beauty, Ruth. And it’s back to you, Hans!
It’s a Moon!
Patricia L KeelinParticipantTrue, and yet non-cloud elements often give meaningful context. Many here are real beauties. Even the more subtle images like your Raven in Fog, Ruth. I hope if this topic does fade, we’ll find your flyers cruising into another one. They are such a delight.
Surfer on the Edge of Land and Sea and SkyPatricia L KeelinParticipantGreat zingers from all of you, Ruth, Hans, Michael ~~ hitting all the chords and beyond to the outer limits!
I heard the last meteor shower of the year will be at its height tonight. Looks like this these two couldn’t wait for dark.
Why Wait?
Patricia L KeelinParticipantTimely warning about tomorrow’s hangover, Michael! I wouldn’t want my brain to look like the Opposite of Bubbles—another great reminder, Hans! And I didn’t even see that sneaky snake until you pointed him out.
It must be the approaching holiday that has me finding feasty food in these recent images with Arizona #242 inspiring a craving for mashed potatoes for a start. And yes, more bubbly, thanks Ruth!
Anyone for More Stuffing?
Patricia L KeelinParticipantWow~~ Ruth, Michael, Hans, you’ve been giving those two clouds that walked into a bar something to talk about—like dressing up in rich royal colors and donning lofty hats. I’d like to put my ear to them and hear it all.
Cloud Conversation
Patricia L KeelinParticipantThanks, Ruth! And here’s a companion for your Jellyfish, this one with pink-tinted tentacles. Better hold the peanut butter on this one too. ;)
