Thanks for the lovely cloud pics, Alicia. I wonder if you can caption them so people (like myself) who are not familiar with your part of the world will have some idea of the locations, as well as some of the trees and other plants? Thanks.

Fantastic as usual, Mike. I don’t know of anyone else who seems to be able to capture the 3 dimensionality of clouds the way you do. Sometimes it seems as if we could really walk on them, or hold them in our hands. I do hope you get your work in a gallery somewhere, so that even more people can appreciate the art of it.

Thank you for the informative article, Bill. How I long to see NLC, just once! Maybe this will be the year they are visible in central Ohio.

Honestly, ‘H’ I’d never even heard of That Dress before seeing your post. Despite all the scientific explanations it’s beyond me to see how anyone could ever confuse gold and white with black and blue. BTW, here’s an article on my most favorite clouds (never seen by my own eyes, unfortunately): http://spaceweather.com/ Hope you can access this. I think the articles change daily, but sometimes they carry over a few days.

Beautiful, Martin! When I saw the article I wanted to send the picture to CAS, but am having to use someone else’s computer & couldn’t figure out how to copy & paste. These are different from any other lennies I’ve ever seen. Thanks for posting the pics.

Thanks for the pictures, Mike. I’ve always loved fog…it seems so mysterious, as if a cloud came down and graced the earth with its presence. (Although it’s really a cloud rising, I guess.) Your humor was probably spot on. Wonder how many fans thought it was just the lingering effects of last night’s excesses?
