Hearty congratulations to you, Ron! I am so pleased to see your glamorous and truly magnificent photo has been voted as April’s Photo of the Month. Quite rightly so, me thinks, as I did suggest as such in my previous comment about your photo. Well done, Sir!

The airliners of the world are a fleet of moving Cloudspotting Sites. I witnessed amazingly beautiful volumetric three-dimensional cloud formations over Florida and the Gulf of Mexico on a short flight from Tampa to Tallahassee in July 2008. Airliners traversing the best cloud-forming regions of the world should be outfitted with exterior-mounted high-resolution 2D or maybe even 3D digital cameras to capture short 3D sequences of airborne journeys through towering cumuli and thunderheads, and any number of beautiful 3D and 2D cloud images and panoramas! Ditto for ocean liners.
