One aspect of Big Sky, is seeing a cell of cloud from the side of it or edge of it. This perspective gives the view a ” Wall” appearance. The shot below is of the Superstition Mtn east of Phoenix Az .The highest point is just over 5k ft. So the ” Wall” of cloud appears to reach 20k ft plus,which is doubtful and an illusion brought about by compressing Big Sky into a 2 dimensional photograph.
