Those snow-capped Himalaya mountains over Khumbu Himal, Nepal look amazing, Michael!

The cap/banner clouds in the sky add to the dramatic scene that is to be portrayed to the viewer looking at this particular picture. With the clouds, I can see an arm and bent fingers of the hand, which looks like it is about to float over in the sky and grab the mountain with full grip and not let go. I can also see a person’s face that has a long nose, eye, hair and a wide-open mouth. I can’t see any eyebrows. From Rebecca Hill, Canberra, Australia

Nacreous clouds are often lenticular wave clouds which are found downwind of mountain ranges that induce gravity waves in the stratosphere. These nacreous clouds were spotted by Gary's friend, Sierra Salin, in the early morning hours over Mt. Tamalpais, Marin County, California, US.
