      Thanks for this link, Laurence. Beautiful endings of days captured there. My favorite is the photo by David Gilroy, a murmuration winging across a brilliant carmine sunset.

      I agree,Keelin.  Pic #3 is the best one.

      Yesterday I was lucky to be in my small back garden early morning refilling my several bird feeders and admiring a nice sky overhead complimented by a huge V-formation of Canada geese flying from north to south honking very noisily in their characteristic and unmistakable way.  Their formation was immaculate!  They would put the US Angels and UK Red Arrows aerobatic teams to shame. “Oh, dear!”.
