Planet Jupiter – in full cloud glory

    Here is a wonderful image of gas giant planet Jupiter.

    The image comes from NASA’s APOD page, released just a few days ago, and shows Jupiter in full magnificent glory.  The clouds are simply stupendous!  To think, Jupiter is some 320 times bigger than our mother Earth.

    Well, I did awe and wonder Laurence. This APOD is truly fantastic with its bright colors and curly cloud structures with magnitudes we can’t imagine. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks, Hans, for your kind comment.  I am glad the posting I made was to your liking.

    The NASA APOD page is updated daily.  Besides covering matters astronomical it also gives excellent coverage of our Earth bound clouds.  Well worth looking at, say, once per week.
