Via the NASA APOD website, (APOD = Astronomy Picture Of the Day) website comes this truly remarkable and jaw gasping image of planet Jupiter’s huge Red Spot – 1.3 bigger times the size of our home planet and measuring something like 16,35o kms (10,155 miles) in size.  The storm clouds make, in comparison, our Earth bound storms and accompanying clouds rather puny.

The image, in startling detail, was taken on 11 July 2017 – this is so, so new, courtesy of NASA’s “JUNO” spacecraft.
