This type of lightning spotted over Lubbock, Texas, US, is known as anvil crawler lightning, it travels horizontally, never hits the ground but 'crawls' on the underside of the anvil of a Cumulonimbus cloud.

A wide range of contrails and dispersement as a result of varying atmospheric conditions, such as humidity, temperature, wind shear, and atmospheric and aircraft-induced turbulence. The clouds that are formed are done so via homogenitus and are dispersed wider in conditions of high humidity and high wind shear.
