      The wispy cloouds appeared to be associated with the other clouds but seemed to be at a lower altitude…sunset-2h

      Easy one , Tony. They are Virga; .the horizontal alto cumulus are not able to hold the moisture so it falls vertical, but notice, it evaporates before it reaches the ground. Virga. Nice sunset shot getting the feel of depth.

        Thanks for the identification and explanation Michael. A few similar photos were posted by others in local (Eastbourne) community social media groups and I have been able to pass on your knowledge.
