Clouds – often associated with negativity but others choose to see the joy they bring. One such individual is Gavin Pretor-Pinney – founder of the Cloud Appreciation Society.
David Curnow spoke to him and two other cloud-lovers: Weather Bureau forecaster Dean Narramore and Ernie Camp – mayor of Burke Shire in the Gulf of Carpentaria which puts on a Morning Glory Festival every September to mark the arrival of a rare cloud formation.
