Around this time of year Deveron Projects usually organises a’Slow Marathon’. But this year, because of the social distancing, its simply not possible. So they came up with something that is possible. They all walk in their own patches around the house, the garden, etc: All under one Sky. But they also sometimes want to walk together. Hence, They are inviting people to walk with them from wherever they are around the world.
Claudia Zeiske told us “People log their miles and send a picture of their sky to Artist Iman Tajik, who will then create an art work from all of our clouds. As someone living rurally, far from the centres of the current protests, this event (and its informing messages to consider those denied the freedoms many of us take for granted) is one way to express this global solidarity”.
