Lynn and Ian, friends of Bob Osborn (Member 54,749), were exploring Pico Island in the Azores, Portugal, when they saw Ponta do Pico, the highest peak in Portugal, casting its shadow on to a thin layer of Stratus cloud below. The spirit of the dormant stratovolcano was making its presence known.
