Linda Seward (Member 48,760) likes to go birdwatching with her husband and their dog on Watlington Hill, Oxfordshire, England. ‘There are arrivals every day in the spring,’ she told us. ‘This year, we were especially pleased to see this new species coming over the horizon.’ This cloud bird is composed of several different formations. Its neck, head, and beak are formed of Altocumulus floccus cloudlets in various stages of development, while its body, wings, and tail consist of various forms of Cirrus. New bird species are often named for the places where they’re discovered, so we're naming this one the Watlington Cloud Bird.
