While fishing in the Okavango Delta in Botswana, Richard Davy (Member 51,908) saw a Cumulonimbus capillatus incus casting its shadow down onto a layer of Cirrostratus. The striking sky helped distract Richard from the bloat of hippos who seemed to be taking an interest in his boat. The Cumulonimbus, Richard told us, would later unleash a quick yet powerful downpour, which ‘brought out frogs from all around’.
