Musician Brian Spence released his new album On the Mend on January 3rd 2012. We think that the cover photograpy is spectacular. It is an image of crepuscular rays and was taken by Angela Craggs.

Dear Staff at CD Baby
you have released an album by one of your artists, “Brian Spence” called “On The Mend”.
I am so sorry but you will have to ask him to use another name as I have been using this name for my whole music career.
I have two albums on Polydor Records – Brothers and Reputation, numerous songwriting credits for other artists such as Michael Ball,
Dusty Springfield, Bilbo Baggins, Chisholm and Spence and the Tremeloes plus a new musical which may be coming to the West End soon.
I have toured the states using this name and both albums were released there.
I don’t like to do this because he may have been using his name for some time and like myself he may have been christened with it.
The main confusion though will be with PRS and MCPS, radio plays etc etc
I hope we can sort this out as amicably as possible and I wish Brian all the best.
