This is certainly not the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia where the beaches come up to the city. Never-the-less it is a beautiful photograph.

This is a lovely photo, but it doesn't show the Gold Coast, Queensland (a city on the east coast of Australia, where the sun sinks over the land to the west).
