Hey, Bob, I guess in California every sunset is gourgeus. ;)
Someone can explain me what is the exact meaning of “sundog”? Thx!

I have known and read about pyroclastic volcanoes but not of the cloud form, that is, “pyrocumulus (flammagenitus)” . according to the photo description appertaining to the photo submitted by Bob Carey. Is this, I ask, a new cloud type description in the making? Granted, the photo certainly has a volcanic vista about it.

Superb cloud, superb composition, superb picture, Bob. Congrats!
