  1. Thankyou Laurence – it was indeed a fair weather indicator, though it seems a long time ago now! Great day to be out enjoying the view. (This is looking North – Manchester on the horizon).
Dave, that description sounds familiar… I am often out on the Middlewood Way.
Though I am usually focused on the ‘weeds’, I shall keep an eye out for you!

    One of my favourite views.
Anthony – do you ever see a bearded man on a bicycle with a black and white collie running along, sometimes accompanied by a youth with a red and white collie? Often on the Middlewood way. Could be me.

There’s a very nice clean and fresh feel to the overall picture which makes it most attractive to look at. The clouds are lovely and indicate a good day’s weather to come and enjoy. Like the scenery too.

    Laurence

On a family road trip at dusk, listening to Jimmy Hendrix's "Purple Haze", Reven looked up to see sinewy windmills on their tiptoes, whipping the lilac clouds into tiny cloudlettes, near the Altamont Pass Wind Farm, California, US.

While waiting for his flight at Hong Kong's International Airport, this framed view of a cumulus cloud seemed like a cartoonist's "thought bubble" coming out of the dormant volcano, wherein Steven wondered what it was thinking. This view was captured from inside the Hong Kong International Airport, Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong.
