    It’s the magic of drops and ice crystals in the right place at the right time … always aware that looking directly at the Sun is dangerous, I always say it when I talk about people to heaven ..

    Really interesting picture of mid-level altocumulus clouds from a very different, artistic perspective! Looks like you are looking through a prism telescope than can show up the many different amazing rainbow colours white light is made up of as the sun shines on the lens at the end. Nacreous clouds are often lenticular wave clouds which are found downwind of mountain ranges that induce gravity waves in the stratosphere. These nacreous clouds were spotted by Gary's friend, Sierra Salin, in the early morning hours over Mt. Tamalpais, Marin County, California, US.
