.:Skyjourn:. In my heart, I sojourn in the sky; there I walk among the clouds and find myself in joy. -Daniel Mitchell (aka Daniel Soule.) I wrote that during a season of both inner and outer turmoil--- that's when I found a safe-haven in the heavens. I grab my gear, head out to the wide open spaces in the Willamette Valley, Oregon, or up into the hills and just 'be' with the clouds and the sky. "Skyjourn" is ministry to my soul- a dance between creator and created. Some call photography capturing- I prefer the term witnessing. These photos are my witness as the great Painters of Light continue in their ongoing and never-ending creation.
