These were on the 14th April, an unexpectedly lovely sunset after a showery day. (Uploaded out of order.. the rainbow was earlier of course).

Nothing show-stopping here, just a round-up of a few pics from last week. These were on the 13th. All taken here at home near Abergavenny.
Apparently it’s a good day for those folk who like throwing themselves off hillsides. Zoom in to spot them.. above the Blorenge which overlooks Abergavenny. (Bear in mind for when you need something to rhyme with orange 😆).
Happy Easter Friday 🌥An anvil forming here, with a strange little dark caterpillar cloud in front.
And a pileus perhaps, or maybe just a lenticular cloud playing hide-and-seek with a cumulus 🌥
Yesterday in Monmouthshire, huge skies full of cumulus with some very heavy showers. Check out this downpour coming from what looks like burst mammatus..? (Taken from a moving car, so a bit of windscreen reflection too.)
I have tried to upload some pics from yesterday but it’s failed 3 times, despite seeming to have uploaded ok! So am going to try again individually.. 🤞 this will work…

Back to grey today, apart from this unusually low-slung rainbow. It hung around for ages… 40 mins between the 1st and 2nd pic ( assuming they upload the right way round!)

</p>So good to see some sky again today, after all the grey and fog of the last few days. Stopped on the way home from Abergavenny to snap this wild dramatic edge of cloud catching the evening sun, and some lovely cirrus flying free beyond.
