ParticipantA few minutes before sunrise on the 24th, night rolling back to reveal the Dragon’s breath lining the valley.

ParticipantCheekily pulled in at a bus stop for a quick pic of this lowbow, on the way to Abergavenny yesterday.

ParticipantStrictly one at a time then, we get there in the end! Does all look rather Autumnal though.. already..

ParticipantI happened to look out at 5.47 this morning and this lovely sight woke me right up! A thick blanket of Dragon’s Breath, with some lenticularis above.. and across the way.. a Sun pillar!
Looks like only one pic has uploaded so will try below for the other two 🤞

ParticipantLate uploading this.. it was on 21st July, in the evening – a nice little bit of fluctus. Took 4 pics but this first one is the best – it had gone in about a minute.

ParticipantCat-snail dissolving back to a blob, with pretty shirred edges. And a more conventiomal lenticular cloud forming down to the right.
At least these have uploaded this time, but a bit clunky having to do them sepatately 😊

Participant<p style=”text-align: left;”>Just tried uploading some pics from yesterday which have once again disappeared into thin air at
the “submit” stage. So will try uploading one by one, in case attempting 5 at once causes the thing to crash.</p>
Yesterday morning, a lovely altocumulus/lenticular mix. With visibly playful shearing winds. Taken over the space of 5 minutes.Angela Swan
ParticipantThanks Pam 😊 And hope you find a solution to get your photos online with relative ease again! 🌤

ParticipantI’ve had this phone for several years and only recently discovered the wide angle function! Used it today to capture this glorious giant looming over Abergavenny. Great, I thought, more lovely rain on the way. But looks can be deceiving.. not a drop!

ParticipantYesterday early evening.. lenticularis and a tiny red dot which was a Virgin hot air balloon. And later, a lovely patch of undulatus at sunset time.. (uploaded out of order!).

ParticipantThanks for your comment, Pam. But what a nuisance you can’t upload images direct from your phone, frustrating – I wonder why. This thread function of the CAS site does behave very differently to our good old Wales group but I can upload from my (Samsung) phone – the process is often a bit clunky (images often failing to upload & need to try a few times) but I get there in the end! I wonder if your local phone shop geeks may be able to help resolve the problem. Or if you have email on your phone you could email the images to yourself, so that they get sent to your laptop.. at least that would be quicker/easier than doing a whole photo download each time! Would be great if you can find a workaround as I miss seeing your skies!
