It seems very strange to be back in this place after an absence of several years. If it wasn’t for Hygge or ‘H’ as we used to call him contacting me, I wouldn’t be here. The site definitely looks very different to what it used to, slicker, far more commercial, but at least there are one or two old faces still around. If I remember correctly, the black and white threads started following a conversation between Mike Lerch and myself many moons ago; they certainly seem to have stood the test of time! I purposely didn’t post the image in one of the B&W threads because it is in fact a colour image. If you look closely, you can see that the light area of sky between the houses has a slight yellow tinge. It was taken last year when I was experimenting with the concept of achromatic chromaticity. Obviously, the image has been very heavily processed.
